As a family therapist Dr. Jeri DeVale offers relationship and(or) marriage counseling to help you build long and happy lives together. She can help deepen intimacy in your relationship by creating better communication skills. She also offers therapy for children either individually or together with one or both parents.
She offers counseling for traumas that impact relationships such as serious illness, loss of a child, parent or friend, and sudden job loss. There are many other issues that could be impacting your marriage, please see the list below for common issues that Dr. Devale treats. Fees run on a sliding scale thru the non-profit.
Here is a list of insurances we accept: Aetna, BayCare, Cigna and Evernorth, Humana, Optum, PPO insurance companies, UnitedHealthcare UHC | UBH.
What if my partner refuses to go to therapy or I want to work on issues alone?
Many issues that can impact a relationship are within the individual and you may not even realize how much power you have to improve your marriage just by changing your own behavior. So coming in for individual therapy is very beneficial if you feel there are ongoing issues and your partner won’t agree to therapy or you have relationship issues that you wish to work on individually.
Here’s a list of just some the conditions I offer treatment for that can impact a relationship:
- Anger Management – Stop arguing-start communicating in a win-win scenario
- Infidelity / Cheating
- Grief and Loss
- Low Self-Esteem
- Anxieties and Fear
- Parenting concerns
- Children’s mental health
- Communication Problems
- Not Feeling in Love
- Physical Health Changes
- Sexual Disorders – Free up energy, enhance libido & communication, deepen intimacy
- Lifestyle Changes
- Boundary Issues
- Childhood Issues
- Family Conflict
